MARATHON CYCLE RIDE – from Spain, across France to England raising money for Ukrainian aid. This year starting on 9th July, I’m going to cycle over 800 miles to raise money for medical and civilian causes in Ukraine. I’m raising money to benefit CONVOY4UKRAINE, and UKRAINIAN HEARTS. CONVOY4UKRAINE fundraise to purchase 4x4s and ambulances plus humanitarian aid. They are then driven across Europe to deliver them to Ukrainian medical aid partners working on the ground. The vehicles are used for civilian evacuation, medical transfers, delivery of aid.
UKRAINIAN HEARTS are raising funds to provide treatment for children from the frontline battle zones. The Ukrainian hospital at Ohmatdyt is treating patients with injuries from the bomb shelling as well as providing specialist treatment for trauma.
